Making The Logo

Company or organization’s Logo is an important identity for the company. Logos can be a starting point when someone sees the imaging institution or company knew the first time. Then, if people often see a company logo or terdisplay appeared in various media, it will be stored in the memory of the brain that look, the better the logo, the more widely within the memory space to place a person is residing. As a result, logos can be created panatisme someone to your product or company that has identity.

A company certainly have to choose and have the best logo designs which of course must be adapted to imaging of the companies or products they carry. All companies must have always wanted the best imaging creation for products and companies. Consequently a good logo design should contain the following elements:
  1. Eye catching - in the sense of comfort to the eye, contains a blend of colors, shapes, and sizes that is worth the beauty.
  2. Memorable - easy to remember and sediment in the brain memory of people who view it as something good.
  3. Philosophis - contain deep meanings, relevant to the vision, mission and corporate philosophy.
  4. Valuable - the logo can boost the 'value' of a company, because it is the identity. Logos that contain high values are unique and are not cracked by age, and does not appear cheap.
  5. Uniquely - a logo that is unique, unlike much less the same with the logo of another company.
  6. Simple - in a sense be easily placed in various media, technology friendly.
In designing the logo is good and right, of course, require thinking and handling of special designs by experts. A good logo design would require time and professional management.

Well, you want to build an advanced business? Do not forget to choose a good logo. For that leave to the experts.

Are You a Narsis?

It is said that the word narcissistic obtained from Greek legend, who is none other than someone named Narcisuss who fell in love with a shadow of himself when reflected off the surface of a lake. Well, then the word narcissistic used to call people who are too impressed, proud, and self-adoration, sometimes the term narcissistic also popular as an act of the people who diligently take pictures-photos.

If we already know the meaning of it as a love of the narcissistic self, then well do people who 'suffer' narcissistic?

To answer the above questions, let us see the other side. We often find people (or perhaps our own?) Who always felt inferior, weak, marginalized, rejected, unappreciated, even unloved, and it seems no one would help him? The last special, I'll review at another time.
Why would someone feel inferior? If you are a man of strong faith, your religion is guaranteed to not have to feel inferior. Are not human beings were created with all the glory, even the angels have been ordered by Allah to prostrate to Adam, the first man. Who will not prostrate (devil) on Adam expelled by God from heaven, because he refused to obey it.
We are often trapped in standard sizes or materials owned by others, the achievements of others, personal pride in others who we admire, but we can not reach that standard, even feels like the distance between heaven and earth. As a result, we no longer see that we have, the truth can be proud of, appreciated and deserves to be loved. Feelings of inferiority is also not infrequently accompanied by regrets about yourself that do not conform with the standards we have created. The result is a 'punishment' itself prolonged. In fact, remember my story about your boat is solid, we really are as good as any, punishment is causing us tied, not getting ahead.
If so, it helps us reflect on our true self, break away from standard-size of others, then began making his own standards, reviewing the potential, which may not be owned by someone else. By doing so we cultivate pride, a sense of love yourself. How other people can accept us, if we ourselves refuse or doubting yourself, how could anyone else can love us, if we do not have a sense of self-love?
Well, if that conclusion, so narcissistic, is good for us. With narcissistic suffering, we grow in confidence, to appear brave and accept others. Of course, narcissists do not be excessive. Excessive narcissistic can cause the appearance of arrogance, excessive pride, and of course other causes of liver disease. In other words, love themselves to certain limits, do not make it addictive!

What do you think?

Your Self Image = How You to Call ?

Have you ever experienced, while in a small discussion with someone, and you're trying to answer the question, but suddenly the questioner instead hung say goodbye, because they have to receive calls? Annoying is not it? Still mending if concerned still have a little modesty: goodbye and apologize, but if no ba-bu-bi foster direct telephone, as if you were not there? How do you feel when it?
This often we experience, or we may even have to be the culprit? How many of us, thanks to the sophistication of today's communications technology called cellular phone (HP) has left manners, ethics, manners, or whatever his name, which makes other people feel unappreciated, do not even feel the 'people' do. Information or communication technology is a lot of human help in overcoming communication barriers, ease of information need, as well as other benefits. But many also result in moral values and our human degradation due to its sophistication. But we need blame this technology? Like a dagger, which many mothers help in the kitchen, but occasionally also could hurt people, even can be used to commit armed robbery or other violent means. Knives certainly not guilty, according to the purpose of creation, he was very helpful. But it would be a threat, when abused by humans.

Finally we conclude in fact a good or bad depending on the technology in humans who use them. All would agree. Humans themselves who need to correct himself whether it has been increasingly forgotten his own values.

In the case of this phone, many events that make us uncomfortable, of whom I have often experienced something like this:
  1. We're enjoying eating (fortune of God), suddenly the phone rang. Denied, rang again. Appointed was not important. In fact, it reduces our appetite, and even interfere with the enjoyment fellow next to us (during meals). It is also common when this is resting (sleeping). Fixed phone is turned on at a moment like that, of course meant to stay connected with emergency information only. If this happens and you're the caller, then the 'value' you really have to fall, could be labeled as an ungrateful people, not polite, even insolent.
  2. Outside the critical hours as above said, I've also experienced my phone rang many times, but I can not carry it because it was driving, and had no place to stop. People who meredial up many times like this, shows he is a man who arrogant, pretentious title and who clearly have no ethics. I included that strongly disagree with people who are driving while phoning. Because, driving while phoning is also showing people who do not care about other people, threatening the safety of themselves and other road users.
  3. I also never received a negative perception of friends, even his own brother, because my phone died. When sipenelepon call my phone is not active. If the caller to think positive, then the perception was unnecessary. Telephone die there are only two possibilities: intentional or unintentional. Usually I turn off the phone with accidentally when:
  • Was in a meeting room, seminar or are teaching
  • Are running or being in the prayer room should not turn on the HP like, in the medical treatment room, on the plane or the other.
Well, sometimes it once hung in the above situation, I continue to be rusted revived it. But what often happens is the result of a prolonged dying phone ran out of shock, because the batteries drop.

Unfortunately, some of us have greatly diminished sense of tolerance for others, so do not need to think about situations like this that may be experienced by people who will be our contact. Therefore, easy to take it for granted or convicted "he is deliberately not accept my phone!". Though situations like that, too, must have endured. Unless it was concerned not enough bad manners, so that HP used to turn her in all circumstances, and the batteries belonging to superextended!

Well, so you still have a value in the eyes of others, I have the following simple tips:

  1. These tips apply only to those that can differentiate between the phone features that are not connected, busy, or simply rejected. If you can not tell, how gapteknya you?
  2. Before calling, you should see your watch in advance, about whether the time is now appropriate to call. Intelligent person would know such a critical hour or hour lunch break (to sleep).
  3. When you decide to call (after consideration of this critical hour), and it seems your phone is rejected, you should not directly repeat or diredial. Just imagine a positive reason why the phone was rejected. We recommend that you try again after some time (eg after 30 minutes). If still rejected, too, should you send an SMS, please state the purpose of the phone or news you want delivered, and do not forget to end with your name. This name is also an important part, especially if you are unsure of the number and your name known to the recipient. Someone might think you're arrogant, famous ass, so no need to mention names?
  4. When you're talking to someone else, let alone listening to the other person is talking, you should not receive the phone. If there is incoming call, decline it. Let your conversation is finished, or until the other person finish his conversation. Once completed, only then you permission to call back the number that you reject this, do not forget to get out a bit further away from your interlocutor earlier. Sometimes the reason for not calling back, very trivial: pulse loss! (Ask to yourself: how many comparisons between the price of pulses with self-esteem?). Your self-image is determined by how you communicate.

What is your opinion?

A High School Senior Sells Into Wal-Mart

Jasmine Lawrence started her hair and body care products business when she was 13. She describes her speedy path to success.
Background: After chemical hair-care products caused much of her hair to fall out when she was 11, Lawrence began to research natural alternatives. Two years later, she started the hair care line Eden Body Works with $2,000 in seed money from her parents, after being selected to attend a business camp sponsored by the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (BusinessWeek.com, 10/5/07). Since then, the teen has been featured on the Today show and Oprah. Her business has also been nominated by businessweek readers to our annual Best Entrepreneurs 25 and Under Roundup (BusinessWeek, 9/8/08) for the past two years.

The Company: Based in her family's basement in Williamstown, N.J., Eden Body Works has grown to 17 products that are sold online and via brick-and-mortar retailers including Whole Foods (WFMI). In 2007, Lawrence, then a junior at Williamstown High School, negotiated a deal to sell her products at Wal-Mart Store (WMT) nationwide.

Revenues: Over $1 million

Her Story: As if being a teenager weren't hectic enough—try being a teen and a CEO. That is the challenge that I am faced with every day. It all started four years ago, when I decided to start a company to make all-natural hair and body care products. Now I am managing national distribution chains and international online sales. At the same time, I am also trying to have a life. My day starts at 5 a.m. After school, I head straight to my room for an hour power nap, then pry myself awake for homework. On a normal day, after finishing my schoolwork, I answer e-mails, do interviews, and have a meeting or two with my four employees (one of whom is my mom—she is the head of business development).

On a not-so-normal day, I may be packing to take a trip somewhere across the country to speak at a school, a church, or a business event. At some of these events, I am surrounded by business people wearing suits and ties who are twice my age, if not more.

Look the Look, Talk the Talk

At first, it was a challenge to fit in—in the jungle of Corporate America. I noticed, however, that all that I needed were a few adjustments and a little maturity. I needed a professional attitude that would gain me respect among adults. I also needed professional attire. It wasn't easy, because I had never been exposed to the world of business beyond what I had learned from my mom and dad. I started my businesswoman transformation with my wardrobe. I knew that I had to look the part if I planned to run a multimillion-dollar empire one day. So, I went out and bought suits for all occasions. I also went into my closet and pulled out the shoes that I usually wore only on special occasions. I stood up straight, looked in the mirror, and saw the businesswoman I was destined to be. Once I was satisfied with my outside appearance, it was time to look within. I dropped the slang I used with my friends, and I adopted new business terms like "revenue" and "return on investment." I practiced my elevator pitch and readied myself for networking and sharing my ideas with others.

The first test of my business skills came in the form of an investor presentation competition in 2005, where I had to discuss my business plan before a group of real financial advisers. I was nervous when I first stepped into the room filled with so many people. But I was confident in my business. I knew it was really a good idea. I was able to deliver a smooth presentation. Many there were shocked and amazed at not only my age but also the poise with which I spoke and carried myself.

Hitting the Mass Market

A year later (in 2006), I had another challenge.
I was nominated for Black Enterprise's Teenpreneur of the Year award. Following the awards ceremony, a representative from Wal-Mart approached me. He wanted to know more about my business and start a relationship, so that one day my products could be sold at its stores. My dream of hitting the mass market seemed to be coming true right there. Little did I know there were many steps I had to take to make them come true.

After learning even more about business and the retail world, I went down to Wal-Mart headquarters in Bentonville, Ark., for a meeting. It had taken almost a year to get UPC codes, minority- and women-owned business certifications, and also to learn how to ship and bill Wal-Mart. It was a success that I was given the chance to do a test run in 10 stores to see how my products would sell. The trial went phenomenally. Not long after, Wal-Mart offered to sell my products in 200 stores across the country.

Many people could never picture a teenager running such a successful business. I don't think they should be so surprised anymore. There are plenty of teen-run businesses today. Teens are venturing past the conventional money-making jobs like babysitting, or working at fast food restaurants and lemonade stands. We teens today have bigger dreams and higher expectations for ourselves than anyone could imagine. Sometimes all we need is a little encouragement or some inspiration on what we can really do.

Live Your Dream

When I first started my business, a lot of people told me that I was too young and that I needed to focus on school. Many thought that I was just a puppet and that my parents were really the ones calling the shots and running the business. I saw past all of the negativity and did what I was called to do. I never lost the support of my friends and family. They were the encouragement that I needed.

Now that my business has started to truly make a mark in the hair care industry, I feel that it is my duty to give back. My message is: Find your passion, and live your dream. It is never too early or too late to take a chance and live your dream. I am living proof. However, in the midst of the speaking engagements and business meetings, I still manage to remain an honor student with a 4.0 GPA. I do sports, community service, and after-school clubs. I study engineering and have an amazing group of friends that I couldn't do without. I make time for myself, my family, and all the other things I love to do besides run my business. I have a very full life, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Time

As usual Rudi, a branch manager at a leading private company in Jakarta, arrived at his home at 9 o'clock tonight. Not as usual, Imron, the first of his son in the second grade elementary school that opened the door. He seems to have waited long enough.
"Why not sleep?" Rudi said, kissing his son. Usually, Imron was already asleep when he came home and just woke up when he would leave office the morning.

As he followed his father into the family room, Imron replied, "I'm waiting for dad to go home. Because I want to ask how much your salary? "

"But, unusually, asked why my salaries? Want to ask for money anymore, huh? "
"Ah, no. Just want to know".
"Okay. You may count itself. Every day you work about 10 hours and paid Rp.400.000, -. And every month an average of 25 working days counted, so within one month of salary dad how, behold? "

Imron run to take paper and pencil from a desk, while his father took off his shoes and turned on the television. When Rudi moved to the bedroom to change clothes, Imron ran after him.
"If one day the father paid Rp 400,000, - for 10 hours, it means an hour's father paid Rp 40.000, - " he said.
"Wow, you are clever. Already, now wash your feet, sleep, "Rudi command.

But Imron did not budge. As he watched his father get dressed, Imron again asked,
"Daddy, I'm allowed to borrow money to Rp 5000, - is not it?"
"There, do not need anymore stuff. Why ask for money at night?  I Tired . And want to shower first. Sleep. " "But, Daddy ..." Rudi's patience exhausted.
"I told you to sleep!" He barked surprising Imron.

The little boy turned to his room. After the bath, Rudi seems to regret . Imron also turned in his bedroom. He beloved child was not sleeping. Imron was found sobbing quietly while holding the money Rp 15.000, - in his hand. As I lay down and caressed the head of the little boy, Rudy said, "Please forgive me, son.  I love you, Imron. Definition of what is asked for money at night? If you want to buy toys, tomorrow, 'it could. Not only Rp 5000, - any more than that a father's love. "
"Dad, I'm not asking for money. I borrowed. I'll return it when it's saving more than spending money for the week. "
"Yes, yes, but for what?" Rudi asked softly.
"I waited for Dad of 8 hours. I want to invite you to play Snakes and ladders. Thirty minutes only. Mother often said that if the time my father was very valuable. So, I want to buy time dad. I open my savings, there is Rp 15,000, -. But because my father told me an hour's father paid Rp 40.000, -, then a half hours should be Rp 20,000, -. Money savings of approximately Rp 5000, -. Therefore I want to borrow from You, "Imron said innocently.
Rudi was silent. He lost for words. The little boy hugged tightly.

The Journey to Happiness

by Brian Tracy
The key to happiness is both simple and complex. It is the sum total result of more than 2000 years of philosophy, psychology, speculation and discussion about the meanings and sources of happiness. From Aristotle in 340 BC through to the modern thinkers, speakers and writers of today, this key to happiness has hardly changed at all. It is the same for virtually all men and women, in all countries and situations and in all walks of life.

The key to happiness is this: dedicate yourself to the development of your natural talents and abilities by doing what you love to do, and doing it better and better, in the service of a cause that is greater than yourself.

This is a big statement and a big commitment. Being happy requires that you define your life in your own terms and then throw your whole heart into living your life to the fullest. In a way, happiness requires that you be perfectly selfish in order to develop yourself to a point where you can be unselfish for the rest of your life. In Edmund Rostand’s play “Cyrano de Bergerac”, Cyrano, is asked why he is so intensely individualistic and unconcerned with the opinions and judgments of others. He replies with these wonderful words, “I am what I am because early in life I decided that I would please at least myself in all things.”

Your happiness likewise depends upon your ability to please at least yourself in all things. You can only be happy when you are living your life in the very best way possible. No one can define happiness for you. Only you know what makes you happy. Happiness is an inside job.

Now, there is a good deal of confusion on the subject of happiness. When I was growing up, I was told by older relatives that my happiness was irrelevant. I was reminded again and again that it was selfish for me to set my own happiness as a goal and to strive toward it. I was told that I was here on earth to make other people happy and that if I got a little happiness on the way through, I should consider myself lucky.
.
Many people fool themselves into thinking that by giving up their own personal happiness, they can make someone else happy, usually members of their family. But this way of thinking is completely confused. You can’t reap where you haven’t sown. Just as you cannot make someone else healthy by being sick, you cannot make someone else happy by being unhappy. People who think that they are unhappy so that others can be happy are deluding themselves. They are rationalizing their own dissatisfaction by somehow pretending that it is noble to be miserable.

Study after study shows that the best thing you can do for the people around you, especially the members of your family, is to be a happy person. If you want to raise happy children, be a happy parent. If you want to have a happy spouse, be a happy husband or wife. Only happy people can make other people happy.

A very important point on the subject of happiness is whether or not you feel that you “deserve” to be happy. The question of deservedness is one of the most fundamental and confusing issues that we have to deal with throughout life. Most of us have been brought up with vague feelings of guilt and uneasiness. Deep down inside, we often don’t feel that we deserve to be truly happy. In fact, these feelings of guilt and inferiority can lead us to sabotage our own happiness when we finally do achieve it.

A starting point for enjoying happiness is for you to accept that you deserve all the happiness you can honestly attain through the application of your special talents and abilities. The more you like and respect yourself, the more deserving you will feel of the good things in life. And the more deserving you feel, the more likely it will be that you will attain and hold on to the happiness you are working toward.

Another key is to make happiness the organizing principle of your life. By doing this, you can compare every possible action and decision against that standard of happiness to see whether it would make you more happy or less happy. Soon, you will discover that almost all of the problems of your life come from choices that you have made, or are currently making, that do not contribute to your happiness.

Of course, there are countless times where you will have to do little things that don’t make you happy on the path toward those larger things that make you very happy indeed. We call this paying the price of success in advance. You must pay your dues. For example, if you want to enjoy the good life of success, prestige, respect, and inner satisfaction that comes from successful selling, you must often get up early, make cold calls, prospect with rude or indifferent people to find business, and stay later than anyone else. Sometimes these interim steps don’t make you happy directly, but the happiness you achieve from attaining your goals is so great that it wipes away the temporary inconveniences and dissatisfactions you had to endure in order to get there.

As Earl Nightingale said, “Happiness is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.” You only feel really happy when you are moving, step-by-step, toward the accomplishment of clearly defined goals that you feel will enhance the quality of your life.

Since you can’t be truly happy until you are clear about your inherent possibilities, it’s very important that you take some time on a regular basis to analyze yourself and identify your strengths and weaknesses. There is an old saying: “Success leaves tracks.” You can often look back in your life, and look around you today, to identify who you really are and what you should really be doing with your life. One of the best ways to do this is to ask yourself two powerful questions.

The first question is my favorite: “What one great thing would you dare to dream if you knew you could not fail?”

Imagine that you are absolutely guaranteed success in the pursuit of a particular goal, big or small, short term or long term. Imagine that you had all the money, all the time, all the education, all the contacts, all the resources and everything else that you could possibly need to achieve any one big goal in life. What would it be? This is a very important question because when you remove the limitations from your thinking, you often get a very clear idea of exactly what you should be doing with your life.

All successful men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose. And step-by-step realization of their ideal makes them genuinely happy. The second question you can ask yourself is this: “How would I spend my life if I learned today that I only had six months to live?” If you could only do one or two things before your time on earth was over, what would they be? Where would you go? Who would you spend your time with?

Often, when you think about only having a short time left, you become very clear about exactly what it is that you should be doing with your life.

Both of these questions assess your values. They go right to the very heart of the person you really are. They give you indications of your natural talents and abilities, of what is really important to you.

You get indications of your heart’s desire, the key to your happiness, throughout your life. The things that you did with the greatest joy and happiness between the ages of 7 and 14 contain the seeds of what you should be doing as an adult if you want to fulfill your full potential and become everything you are capable of becoming. Think back to your early teenage years. What did you most enjoy doing? What kind of people did you most enjoy associating with? What sort of things did you most enjoy learning about? What sort of activities did you most enjoy engaging in?

Dr. Viktor Frankl, who wrote the book “Man’s Search for Meaning,” said that you can divide the things you do in life into four categories. The first category consists of the things that are hard to learn and hard to do. An example in this category for many people is mathematics. Many of us struggled with math in school, and still struggle with bookkeeping, accounting, financial statements, and tax returns as an adult. If you find mathematics hard to learn and hard to do, this is the sort of activity for which you are clearly not suited. No matter how much of it you do, or how good you get at it, you will never achieve any lasting satisfaction or happiness from it. The next category consists of things that are hard to learn but easy to do. Riding a bicycle and driving a car are hard to learn but easy to do once you’ve practiced enough. Tying your shoes is another example. These are seldom the sort of activities where you feel terrific about yourself when you engage in them. They do not demand your best.

The third category consists of things that are easy to learn but hard to do. Physical labor falls into this category. Digging a ditch with a shovel or chopping wood with an ax are easy to learn but they are hard to do. And they never get any easier.

The fourth category is the key. These are things that are easy to do and easy to learn. You seem to have a natural proclivity for them. When you are engaged in this sort of activity, time flies. The things that are easy to learn and easy to do for you are the sort of things that you should be doing with your life. They indicate where your natural talents and abilities lie. It is engaging in these activities with your whole heart, and committing yourself to becoming better and better, that will give you all the joy, satisfaction, and happiness you could want in life.

Everyone has an area of excellence. Everyone has something that he or she can do in an outstanding fashion. It may take weeks, months, and even years for you to develop yourself in that area so that you can really perform in an extraordinary fashion, but you will be strongly attracted to that sort of activity from the beginning. You will enjoy reading about it and talking about it and thinking about it. You will find yourself admiring people who are outstanding in that area. You will look longingly at that field and wonder what it would be like to be in it and to be successful at it. And that is very often your heart’s desire. That area of activity, the area where you can become excellent, is probably what you were put on this earth to do.

There is a direct correlation between the feeling of growth and the feeling of motivation or personal power. It is when you are growing progressively, becoming better and better at something that is important to you, that you really feel alive and in touch with your world. And remember, excellence is not a destination; it’s a lifelong journey.

So resolve to persist until you succeed. The first part of courage is the resolve to launch in faith toward your objectives; the second part of courage is your willingness to endure in the face of the inevitable disappointments and setbacks along the road.

Happiness is not an accident. Happy people are those who deliberately do the things that invariably lead to happiness. Happy people are those who know what they want and then throw their whole hearts into using their unique talents and abilities to make a contribution to the world in the achievement of their goals.

You were put on this earth with a special purpose, programmed with unique talents and abilities that have not yet been fully tapped and utilized. When you focus all of your energies on unlocking your true potential, you can claim your ultimate birthright: happiness.
